This announcement contains updates related to 2024 Open Berkeley rate increases and platform roadmap.

Open Berkeley Rate Increases July 1; Pantheon Hosting Rate Increases November 1

Open Berkeley maintenance/support rates will increase in the new fiscal year from $120/month to $135/month. After July 1, 2024, the total cost of your Open Berkeley site (per month) will be $135 + the rate of your Pantheon hosting plan.

Open Berkeley Site Owners and Campus Partners,

As you may have seen, Google plans to remove all data related to Universal Analytics properties on July 1, 2024.

As a reminder, Google Analytics is a self-service feature; our team enables Google Analytics upon request, but we do not support it beyond adding the tracking ID and handling the initial privacy configuration for Open Berkeley sites.

Release 1.8.1 of Open Berkeley contains bug fixes, accessibility improvements, and code updates. There are no new features in this release.

Release 1.8.0 of Open Berkeley changes the markup of the Promo Block widget and adds other accessibility improvements.

Release 1.7.5 of Open Berkeley contains bug fixes and code updates. There are no new features in this release.

Google recently sent a message with the subject line, “Important: Product changes are coming to existing implementations of consent mode in 2024” to all Google Analytics account holders, including many Open Berkeley site owners who use Google Analytics to measure site traffic. If you received this message, you do not need to do anything on your Open Berkeley site in response to this email.

Release 1.7.4 of Open Berkeley contains security updates, bug fixes, and code updates. There are no new features in this release.
